The counterbalanced top adjusts automatically to the sandwich thickness and settles flat on top for even heating.This Equipex PANINI panini press has manual, front-facing controls, including a power switch, temperature knob, and indicator lights. A power switch provides a fast way to start the unit in the morning, and because the temperature knob is separate, it can heat up to previous cooking temperature without extra adjustments. Once the unit is ready for sandwiches, the red heating light will turn off. As the temperature fluctuates, this light will shine, indicating the plates are heating.
