Providing corrosion resistance in high-volume situations, the IKON ITG-48E countertop griddle is made primarily of stainless steel—a type of metal that withstands exposure to salt, grease, and moisture. The griddle plate is 1-inch thick for durability against cracking and warping, and it’s polished smooth to ease cleaning. Because it measures 48 inches wide, this model holds two grease drawers to collect and store oily runoff, keeping the griddle plate clear. To reduce heat transfer between the griddle and supporting countertops, it stands on 4-inch legs that can be adjusted to ensure the griddle remains level.The IKON ITG-48E electric griddle is a 208-volt unit and operates with a hard-wire connection. It can hold cooking temperatures from 150 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and is large enough to accommodate multiple products at once. With four separately controlled heating elements, users can set different areas of the griddle to varying temperatures, meaning they can simultaneously prepare eggs, burgers, and pancakes.
