                        The 5430 Series is a two circuit, slow make and break, direct acting (contacts open on temperature rise) control. Controls have double-pole "Off" in the bake circuit, and single pole "Off" in the broil circuit. Controls have automatic preheat with variable bake and broil. Temperature range for variable bake is 140 to 550°F, and 375 to 530°F for variable broil.
The 5430 Uni-Kit® has a 2" break-off stem which is grooved at all the standard lengths. Kits also have special dual terminals (quick-connect) at each terminal position, and they include (2) 4" wire extensions for maximum replacement flexibility. A pilot light terminal is also provided for those applications that require a pilot light. Includes a Slip-Fit®, 4-Way dial and insert. The dial insert is designed to fit on the Slip-Fit 4-Way dial in any of the four ways to match the old controls mounting position and/or stem flat position.

                        The 5300 Series thermostat with auxiliary switch is a SPST, snap-acting control. Models are available with standard electrical ratings and pilot-duty ratings.                         The 8000 Series Water Level Switch is used on sump pumps and other similar applications. A typical application on a sump pump unit is shown. The switch operates as an automatic control device which turns the pump motor ON when the water level rises and reaches the switch's turn-on level. The pump will turn OFF when the water level rises and reaches the switch's turn on level. The pump will turn OFF when water level drops to the switch's turn-off level.
How to Select a Replacement:
1. Locate FACTORY NUMBER which is usually stamped on the bottom of the switch
2. Cross-reference factory number to Uni-Line® number in Functional Replacement Guide. If not listed, follow step #3
3. Determine NUMBER OF TERMINALS and SWITCH ACTION
4. Determine PRESSURE OPENING TYPE-tubing or wide out opening and approximate size opening
5. Note turn-on and turn-off level set point if important to your application. Note that settings are in inches of water column
6. In the ordering chart, models are grouped according to type of opening and switch action. Select a functional replacement from the appropriate chart
7. If you cannot find a replacement on the charts, send full information to Uni-Line, it often helps to send in old control

                        Robertshaw® Electric Gas Thermostats (EGT) were designed for use in conventional ovens in combination with the ignition system. Their compact design fits even in confined areas. Each of these EGT series thermostats is a highly reliable temperature control with a long operating life. This switch uses a patented push-to-turn function to activate the range valve or close the switch contacts. Turning on the thermostat activates the silicon carbide ignitor bar. When this block reaches the correct temperature, it opens the gas valve and ignites the gas. Shaft rotation is counter-clockwise to increase temperature and there is a detent on the frame to provide a positive OFF. Standard capillary length is 36 inches, secured to the frame by strain relief. These thermostats are ambient compensated to 200°F body temperature. The standard calibration reference point is 350°F. The switch rating is 5 Amps for 120V AC systems only.
